Dark Spot Face Cream with Kojic Acid

A dark spot face cream with kojic acid, made for mature skin where dark spots, patchy discolouration or uneven tone are the main concern. It is a moisturiser, so it can replace your usual face cream rather than add a step. Kojic acid, named after the koji mould that produces it, is the ingredient behind the name. It is used in skincare to help dark spots look lighter and skin tone look more even, and here it is listed ahead of the fragrance. Glycerin, betaine and sodium PCA are humectants that draw water into the skin, while jojoba oil and coco-caprylate keep it feeling soft. A little vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), vitamin E and organic sea buckthorn oil add antioxidant support, with rosemary leaf extract and paprika extract in small amounts near the end. Apply evenly to clean, dry skin once or twice a day, paying most attention to areas with dark spots.
