Niacinamide Gel Moisturiser

A niacinamide gel moisturiser for all skin types, for when you want hydration in a gel rather than a cream. It is aimed at uneven tone and dark spots, and the formula is short: thirteen ingredients, with no oils or butters. Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, is the third ingredient and makes up 5% of the gel. It helps skin hold on to moisture, look smoother and look more even in tone, including where there are dark spots. Glycerin, a humectant, draws water into the surface layers of the skin. Cellulose gum and algin, a thickener from brown seaweed, give the gel its body. Organic ginkgo leaf extract is included in a small amount, after the fragrance. Alcohol is the second ingredient, which is worth knowing if your skin is very dry or reacts to alcohol. Apply to clean skin, on its own or over a serum. If you are working on uneven tone, you can layer it over the Vitamin C Serum or the Pigment Perfecting Serum. The gel contains fragrance (parfum), though no individual fragrance allergens are listed. If you need a fragrance-free moisturiser, the Sensitive Skin Moisturiser, Fragrance Free is the closest option, but it contains no niacinamide. If dark spots are your concern, wear sunscreen every day as well.
