Peptide Anti-Aging Serum

A peptide anti-aging serum for dry and normal skin that feels tight or dehydrated and is starting to show fine lines. If you are reading up on peptides for skin, this is a hydrating serum first, with a peptide and an amino acid derivative built in. Aloe leaf juice takes the place of water as the first ingredient, followed by glycerin and jojoba oil. Glycerin and sodium PCA, part of the skin's natural moisturising factor, do most of the hydrating, with two forms of hyaluronic acid in smaller amounts. Together they help skin look plumper and fine lines look softer. Dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, an oil-soluble form of the amino acid hydroxyproline, helps skin feel smoother. The peptide is hexapeptide-11, a short chain of six amino acids used to condition the skin, present in a supporting amount. Strawberry, blueberry and castor seed oils add softness. Apply to clean skin, then follow with a moisturiser; in the evening, the Rich Anti-Age Night Cream suits the same dry skin type. The serum contains fragrance (parfum, with linalool, geraniol and citronellol from essential oils). There is no fragrance-free serum in the range. If scent bothers your skin, the Nourishing Rich Cream, Fragrance Free covers the moisturising step without it, though it has no peptides.
