Nourishing Rich Cream, Fragrance Free

A fragrance free rich face cream for normal and mature skin that feels dry, tight or dehydrated. It is a nourishing cream full of plant lipids with no added scent: there is no parfum and no essential oil in the INCI. The vanilla bean extract near the end of the list is a plant extract, not a perfume. After water, the main ingredients are sunflower seed oil and cocoa butter, followed further down by argan oil and shea butter, all from organic farming. Palmitic and stearic acid, fatty acids also found in the skin's own barrier lipids, join olive oil unsaponifiables to help soften skin, support its barrier and reduce water loss. Glycerin and pentylene glycol draw water into the surface. Sunflower and sumac waxes with shorea resin give the rich, waxy texture, and skin feels velvety afterwards. Cloudberry fruit extract helps skin feel soft. Cetearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol, not a drying one, and ascorbyl palmitate (a vitamin C ester) with tocopherol (vitamin E) protects the oils. Apply to clean skin as the last step in the morning, under sunscreen, or in the evening when skin needs more comfort.
