All-In-One Facial Oil

An all-in-one facial oil for dry and mature skin that feels tight or looks dehydrated. It is a water-free blend of plant oils, so rather than adding water it softens the surface, helps slow the water loss behind that tight feeling and helps skin look more radiant. Jojoba oil is first in the INCI. Technically a liquid wax, it is close in composition to the skin's own sebum. Sweet almond oil is the next oil, among ten plant oils in total, including sea buckthorn fruit oil, olive, avocado, apricot kernel, evening primrose, plum seed, oat kernel and raspberry seed. Light emollients (decyl cocoate, dicaprylyl carbonate, coco-caprylate/caprate) help it spread thinly, alongside rosehip and tomato fruit extracts. Tocopherol (vitamin E) comes after the fragrance, in a small amount, and mainly helps keep the oils fresh. Apply a few drops to clean skin, on its own or over your moisturiser, and avoid the eyes. It is scented with parfum plus bergamot, bitter orange and lemon peel oils and spearmint oil, so it lists limonene, linalool, citral, geraniol, citronellol and other fragrance allergens. Patch-test first if essential oils irritate your skin. There is no fragrance-free facial oil in the range; for dry skin without scent, the Nourishing Rich Cream, Fragrance Free is the closest choice.
